Cannot print to local printer due to incorrect printer port settings.
Cause:
The incorrect printer driver has been selected or the printer port settings are incorrect.
Solution:
Select the correct printer driver from the printers drop-down list box and/or change the port or port settings.
1) Click 'Start' todisplay the Windows 'Start' menu.

2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Printers'.

3) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Properties...'.
4) Click 'Details' tab.
5) Make sure the correct port is selected in the 'Print to the following port' box.
a) If the correct port is not selected:
1] Select the correct port from the 'Print to the following port' drop-down list box.
2] Proceed with step 6) a) and b).
6) If the correct port is selected, check the port settings as follows:
a) Click 'Port settings...'.
NOTE: Printers that have proprietary printer configurations have an additional button available to access those settings.
b) Make sure the port settings are correct.
7) Click 'OK' (respectively) to accept any changes and return.
